{"id":902195,"date":"2026-06-30T03:22:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T03:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/902195\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T03:22:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T03:22:16","slug":"man-who-killed-an-innocent-bystander-while-firing-at-2-philly-cops-gets-up-to-70-years-in-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/902195\/","title":{"rendered":"Man who killed an innocent bystander while firing at 2 Philly cops gets up to 70 years in prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 The 31-year-old man who admitted to killing a mother and shooting two Philadelphia police officers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/kywnewsradio\/news\/local\/philadelphia-police-department-kensington-spencer-majett\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">nearly two years ago<\/a> was sentenced Monday morning to up to seven decades behind bars.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Spencer Majett <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/kywnewsradio\/news\/local\/suspect-2024-kensington-bystander-killing-pleads-guilty\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">pleaded guilty to third-degree murder<\/a>, four counts of assault on law enforcement and weapons charges in February for the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Felicity Vanatta outside of a deli in Kensington where he was fighting with a group of people on Oct. 8, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Majett was firing at police and struck Vannatta \u2014 an innocent bystander and young mother \u2014 in the chest with a bullet.
