The report then said that Uber intends to announce a new partnership in the area with an unnamed company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">Uber and Waymo did not immediately respond to <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.benzinga.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Benzinga<\/a>\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Uber\u2019s Robotaxi Push<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">The company had earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/tech\/26\/06\/53135624\/uber-lawsuit-zohran-mamdani-new-york-city-driver-protection-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">also filed a lawsuit<\/a> seeking to stop New York City from enforcing a new rule that would limit when large ride-hailing platforms can remove drivers.<\/p>\n<p>Waymo Safer Than Tesla?<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">Waymo also revealed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/tech\/26\/06\/53159659\/waymo-is-charging-29-99-a-month-for-faster-robotaxi-pickups-heres-what-subscribers-get\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">new \u201cPremier\u201d membership<\/a> tier for frequent customers of the company\u2019s service.
