Rakoff <\/strong>of the Southern District of New York also sentenced the 48-year old to 3 years of supervised release, plus $11 million in forfeiture and a $700 fine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Rinsch addressed the court apologizing and accepting responsibility for his actions. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Keanu Reeves<\/strong>, who worked with Rinsch on the 2013 film \u201c47 Ronin,\u201d wrote a letter of support ahead of the director\u2019s sentencing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rinsch was found guilty of wire fraud, money laundering and engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity concerning the money he received from Netflix. <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.66710098;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"9022361\" width=\"394\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/keanu-reeves-dogstar-performs-onstage-130636212.jpg\" alt=\"Keanu \" class=\"wp-image-9022361\"  \/>Keanu Reeves wrote a letter of support for the director.
