Simple as that. A nice spot to stop for a cup of coffee or a breakfast sandwich in the morning, or any number of activities in the afternoon. My kids ask to go to BUBS every morning. The people are super nice, and the space is inviting. Stop by before or after school or work. A board game cafe. Enjoy a game, a bite to eat, or just some friendly conversation.<\/p>\n

What exactly is BUBS?<\/p>\n

That’s up to you. Some come for games, my husband and kids stop by weekday mornings for a snack before school. It’s a lot of things to a lot of people, and it’s quickly building a great community. A perfect location too. Find BUBS on Berks Street in East Kensington, next to the Berks El stop on the Market Frankford Line. <\/p>\n

Hold Your Next Event At BUBS<\/p>\n

Rent the entire space for $150\/hour. You can also rent a full table for $30\/hour or a half table for $18\/hour. There are discounts for 4+ hours. Oh, and games galore! <\/p>\n

People host showers and birthday parties, play Dungeons & Dragons, and just hang out. Just $150 an hour for your next event. The space is operated by a real person too. His name is Simon and he’s a super nice guy, I promise. We hardly know one another, and yet I can’t pass by his shop without looking in and immediately getting a smile and a friendly wave back. It’s nice. Philly’s a big place, but special places like BUBS run by nice people like Simon make it feel small. Stop in to BUBS any time and ask about an idea you have for an event, or anything at all. <\/p>\n

If you stop by M-F around 9am or so, you’re likely to catch my family stuffing their faces full of donuts before school. <\/p>\n
