Instagram\/thylaneblondeau<\/p>\n<p>The flashing lights of Blondeau\u2019s big day, however, harkened memories of the controversy that swarmed the brunette as a child superstar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vile claims that she was being \u201csexualized\u201d by bigwigs in the fashion industry cast a shadow on Blondeau\u2019s rise to fame, influencing her, in part, to shy away from the \u201cmost beautiful\u201d moniker as she matured.<\/p>\n<p>Blondeau\u2019s mom, Veronika Loubry, immediately refuted critiques that her then 10-year-old daughter\u2019s controversial 2011 spread in Vogue Paris was overly sexual.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Blondeau skyrocketed to superstardom after walking in Jean Paul Gaultier\u2019s show at age four. The preteen, too, cut a steely stare in a gold frock with a plunge neckline dipping towards her belly button while propped up against animal-print pillows atop a plushy bed.<\/p>\n<p>Shocked whistleblowers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.com\/amp\/Health\/10-year-models-mom-defends-racy-vogue-pictures\/story?id=14262329\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">deemed the snapshots<\/a>\u00a0\u201csad\u201d and \u201crepulsive,\u201d with one naysayer writing, \u201cIt\u2019s inappropriate, and creepy, and I never want to see a nine-year-old girl in high-heeled leopard print bedroom slippers ever again.\u201d A separate faultfinder argued that \u201cany creepy child pornographer could plead \u2018artistic license.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recent data reveals that kid influencers, performers and models are at risk of suffering with physical and mental health issues owing to the pressures of living life under a magnifying glass.  Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The pressure, criticisms and creepiness of working as a kiddie influencer can trigger\u00a0\u201csevere\u00a0stress\u00a0in childhood that has\u00a0the\u00a0potential\u00a0to\u00a0have\u00a0mental\u00a0and\u00a0physical\u00a0consequences\u00a0later\u00a0in\u00a0life\u00a0such\u00a0as mental\u00a0delays,\u00a0heart\u00a0disease,\u00a0diabetes,\u00a0substance\u00a0abuse\u00a0and\u00a0depression,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/374410788_Kidfluencing_The_Mental_Impacts_of_Posting_on_Social_Media_can_have_on_Children_and_Parents_How_Social_Media_Presence_can_have_Mental_Impacts_on_Children_and_Parents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">according to a recent study<\/a> on the mental impacts of \u201ckidfluencing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The moneymaking minors dominating the multibillion-dollar space can earn an estimated $20,000 a month in ad revenue,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apa.org\/monitor\/2026\/06\/parents-children-sharing-online\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">per trending data<\/a>, plus, as in the case of Blondeau, global notoriety.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Loubry defended her daughter\u2019s questionable modeling work by focusing on the glamor. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The analysis uncovered the seedy underbelly of child-centered social media accounts, many of which attracted a slew of sexualized comments from men interested in seeing young girls dance, perform gymnastics and model. Despite the unveiled depravity of the degenerates, Latifi writes that a faction of mothers who manage their daughters\u2019 accounts \u201cdidn\u2019t choose to change\u201d the type of content they shared on the internet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Loubry supported her daughter\u2019s modeling career in the face of the censures she received from detractors who considered the youngster overly \u201csexualized.\u201d Abaca \/ FameFlynet \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n<p>Blondeau\u2019s mom, however, reportedly responded to the fashion shoot flak, saying, \u201cThe only thing that shocks me about the photo is the necklace that she\u2019s wearing, which is worth 3 million Euros, or about $4.3 million.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unbothered by the Vogue backlash, Blondeau continued modeling throughout her adolescence, commanding the catwalk for the voguish likes of Dolce &amp; Gabbana in 2015.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The glamor gal\u2019s good looks garnered her the second \u201cmost beautiful girl in the world\u201d crowning in 2018. But, she humbly told The Telegraph, \u201cEven today, people are like, \u2018You are the most beautiful girl.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018No, I\u2019m still not, I\u2019m just a human being, a teenager.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the controversy that surrounded her as a kid, Blondeau is now thriving as a married model and businesswoman.
