The shooting happened in the early morning hours of March 28 near 4th Street and Mill Avenue. Gunfire rang out near several bars and other businesses that had just closed. <\/p>\n
Jaime was struck by the gunfire and rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Another man was also hurt, but his injuries weren\u2019t serious.<\/p>\n

Court documents state that Michael Bloodworth, 21, was extradited from Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas, to Maricopa County on Tuesday.(Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office\/Arizona’s Family)<\/p>\n
Zepeda was arrested two days<\/a> after the shooting, and Bloodworth was taken into custody<\/a> two weeks later.<\/p>\n Police have not said what may have led up to the shooting, or if the suspects and Jaime knew each other. Authorities say it remains an active investigation.<\/p>\n Both men were booked on charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and discharging a firearm in city limits.
