Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> pass rusher Josh Hines-Allen<\/a> came in at No. 63 on the NFL Top 100 list.<\/p>\n

Hines-Allen, going into his seventh year in the NFL, is the first Jaguars<\/a> player to be announced on the list that’s annually voted on by players around the league.<\/p>\n

He recorded 45 total tackles with 19 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, two pass deflections and one forced fumble during the 2024 season. He was a bright spot on a Jacksonville defense that struggled throughout the year.<\/p>\n

“I want to do what\u2019s best for my team. I want to play at a high level each and every rep,” Josh Hines-Allen said during the offseason. “Get out, get a squirt of water, and come back in and play four or five plays if needed, full speed, and take over games.<\/p>\n

“That\u2019s my mentality, that\u2019s the mindset and that\u2019s the goal at the end of the day.”<\/p>\n

Hines-Allen is 2.5 sacks away from breaking the franchise career sack record and will likely achieve the goal this season. He has a chance to pencil himself into the history books as one of the best players to ever play for the Jaguars.<\/p>\n

He’s logged 296 total tackles in his career with 122 QB hits, 63 tackles for a loss, 53 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 10 pass deflections and four fumble recoveries.<\/p>\n

And yet, he still shows up with the same mentality that he had when he was a young player. Just get better every day. Along with former No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker, the pass rush pairing headlines Jacksonville’s defense.<\/p>\n

“They ain\u2019t skipping a rep, missing a drill, like they’re doing everything that we’re asking them to do, and they’re going full tilt,” defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile said during mandatory minicamp. “So I\u2019ve been really impressed with the way they’ve been out here working every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
