CHICAGO (WLS) — More storms are inf the forecast for Friday and potentially for the 4th of July in the Chicago area.<\/p>\n
The Chicago area is under a Level 2 risk for severe weather Friday, as some storms could produce damaging winds and flooding.<\/p>\n

Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n After some early morning rain, skies will mostly clear later in the morning for some sun, ABC7’s Accuweather Meteorologist Jaisol Martinez said.<\/p>\n Martinez said a better chance for rain will start around 2 p.m. and there could be sun and off storms through Friday night into Saturday morning.<\/p>\n As for the 4th of July, Martinez said there could be some morning storms before a period of dry weather in the late morning and early afternoon.
