Grant Harris, a senior vice president at the Amon G. Carter Foundation and former chief development officer for Cook Children\u2019s Health Foundation, was arrested in Tarrant County on a solicitation charge June 29, according<\/a> to police records.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The arrest record reviewed by The Dallas Express identifies Harris, 50, and lists the charge as \u201cPC 43.021(b) Solicit Prostitution \/ Other Payor.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source with direct knowledge of the operation told The Dallas Express that Harris\u2019 arrest stemmed from a World Cup-related sex-trafficking enforcement operation. The Dallas Express\u00a0is not releasing the location of Harris\u2019 arrest so as not to compromise ongoing World Cup sex trafficking task force operations.<\/p>\n

The listing includes booking number A2608128, report number 260048643 and a $1,500 bond. FWPD listed Harris as released on a personal recognizance bond.<\/p>\n

Former Cook Children\u2019s Executive<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harris previously served<\/a> as senior vice president and chief development officer for Cook Children\u2019s Health Foundation.<\/p>\n

Cook Children\u2019s announced in 2017 that Harris had taken the senior vice president and chief development officer role at the foundation. The hospital system said at the time that he had worked within the foundation for nearly a decade, focusing on annual giving, donor engagement, donor relations and major gift fundraising.<\/p>\n

In 2021, Cook Children\u2019s said Harris received the inaugural Chief Development Officer of the Year Award from Children\u2019s Miracle Network Hospitals.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth Inc.\u2019s 2024 list of influential local leaders<\/a> also identified Harris as senior vice president and chief development officer for Cook Children\u2019s Foundation.<\/p>\n

Amon Carter Foundation Link<\/strong><\/p>\n

A screenshot of the Amon G. Carter Foundation\u2019s website<\/a> reviewed by The Dallas Express listed Grant W. Harris as senior vice president. The foundation\u2019s website has since been scrubbed and Harris\u2019 social platforms appear to be deactivated, including his LinkedIn profile, which was active just days ago and listed his role at the Amon Carter Foundation.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Express contacted the Amon G. Carter Foundation by phone and email seeking comment.
