According to a report from Tz journalists Philipp Kessler, Mano Bonke, and Hanna Raif (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>), Bayern Munich<\/a> has submitted its latest offer to VfB Stuttgart for Nick Woltemade \u2014 and it might be the club\u2019s last proactive attempt: <\/p>\n

Bayern\u2019s latest offer for Nick Woltemade (\u20ac50m + \u20ac5m) had already reached the limit of what the club was willing to go for. Bayern won\u2019t pay much more than that for a player whose market value is \u20ac30m. Stuttgart will therefore have to carefully reconsider their negotiating position: If they don\u2019t sell Woltemade and he has a bad season, that would have a significant impact on his price next summer. Bayern bosses are calm and won\u2019t be rushed into paying an exorbitant fee – they\u2019re playing for time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If that sounds glum, maybe it should not. Per Abendzeitung journalist Maximilian Koch (via @iMiaSanMia<\/a>), Bayern Munich is feeling good about it: <\/p>\n

Bayern remain optimistic about the signing of Nick Woltemade. The player will be with Stuttgart at Tegernsee for a 6-day training camp starting from Monday. Bayern bosses believe it\u2019s possible to hold a meeting with VfB executives there in the coming days. What makes Bayern even more optimistic is the fact that Stuttgart haven\u2019t declared Woltemade unsellable. There are also voices within Stuttgart\u2019s supervisory board that are critical of the club\u2019s tough stance. An exchange between both clubs at Tegernsee is possible, especially since the overall relationship between the club is good. Uli Hoene\u00df may even be involved again since he lives in the area.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
