{"id":91522,"date":"2025-07-25T13:52:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T13:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/91522\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T13:52:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T13:52:08","slug":"comal-isd-hires-new-chief-financial-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/91522\/","title":{"rendered":"Comal ISD hires new chief financial officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tComal ISD has hired a new chief financial officer for the 2025-26 school year.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Guerra began working for the district July 21 and has almost 20 years of experience in public education, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.comalisd.org\/apps\/news\/article\/2088793\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Guerra previously worked as the CFO for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judsonisd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Judson ISD<\/a>. He has experience in financial management, financial planning, contract negotiation and team building, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What they&#8217;re saying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guerra said Comal ISD is a great opportunity for him to continue working in public schools.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I look forward to getting involved in the communities that we serve and being a part of the district&#8217;s continued growth,&#8221; Guerra said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>Comal ISD&#8217;s Superintendent of Schools John E. Chapman III said the district was fortunate to have Guerra in the role.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His experience is a great asset to Comal ISD,&#8221; Chapman said in the release.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Comal ISD has hired a new chief financial officer for the 2025-26 school year.
