The eastbound lanes of I-10 near Loop 202 are closed due to the crash. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Traffic cameras in the area showed a black SUV that had crashed into a large pole on the side of the road. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Firefighters worked to pull the driver out of a heavily damaged Toyota SUV on Interstate 10 on...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1783299805_140_I2AFO7HHZRCSDLC6V4I2CL6ISI.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"569\" \/>Firefighters worked to pull the driver out of a heavily damaged Toyota SUV on Interstate 10 on Sunday afternoon. (Arizona Department of Transportation)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Firefighters were seen using the Jaws of Life to open the vehicle and pull out the driver, who was then loaded into an ambulance. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say state troopers are investigating what led up to the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">It is unclear how many people were involved or the extent of any injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Drivers should avoid the area as authorities investigate what led up to the crash. There is no timeframe for when the lanes may reopen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">This is a developing story.
