Jennifer Lopez<\/a> spent her 56th birthday in Antalya, Turkey, as her Up All Night tour continues\u2014and posted, among other photos, a makeup-free selfie to celebrate.<\/p>\n

The selfie on July 24 came alongside a glamorous appearance with friends at a club that same night, where she danced next to a three-tiered pink and white cake in a curve-hugging, backless gown<\/a> that plunged all the way down to her (very famous) backside. The carousel of images shared on Thursday included another selfie\u2014this time in full glam\u2014plus shots from her birthday bash, the multihyphenate holding bouquets of flowers, views from her hotel room, and, to close, a photo of a young Lopez celebrating, also with a pink and white birthday cake.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a gift you all are!\u201d Lopez wrote alongside the photos. \u201cThank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Listen, if this is what 56 looks like\u2014it\u2019s difficult not to be excited about it. Lopez looks better than ever as she rings in a new year of life, and is spending her summer touring in bold and daring looks everywhere from Spain to Italy to Poland, where she performs next on July 25 in Warsaw. The tour\u2014which kicked off on July 8\u2014wraps up on August 10. To mark her birthday season, Lopez dropped a new song called \u201cBirthday,\u201d and after the Up All Night tour wraps next month, she\u2019ll have a moment to recalibrate before her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace begins in Las Vegas in December. (\u201cBirthday,\u201d by the way, features lines like, \u201cName on top of the cake, it\u2019s my birthday \/ I\u2019ma make this famous ass shake, it\u2019s my birthday.\u201d)<\/p>\n

How does Lopez look so youthful at 56, as evidenced in her fresh-faced selfie? Well, to ask her, she is a devoted user of her own skincare brand, JLo Beauty, as she clarified in an Instagram video recently after a fan asked if she actually used her own line, which launched in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou thought I came to play?\u201d the entertainer joked on July 20, recording in what appears to be her bathroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been diving into everything that you guys have been saying about JLo Beauty,\u201d she said, before the question \u201cDo you use this every day or just when the cameras are on?\u201d was asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s funny, because I\u2019m standing in my actual bathroom right now,\u201d Lopez said. \u201cNo, I use it. I use it every day.\u201d She added of the line, \u201cWe want it to be like cashmere for your face, but make it clinically tested.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYour skin is something that you have to show up with every single day,\u201d the performer added. Alluding to the line\u2019s more expensive price point, she continued, \u201cSo, if there is a little bit of splurge in you, I would say do it on skincare, without a doubt.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that\u2014as opposed to other celebrity skincare lines, some of which Lopez admitted aren\u2019t worth it\u2014JLo Beauty is \u201cluxury skincare that is clinically tested and trust me, I don\u2019t cut corners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to People<\/a> about her brand, Lopez said of JLo Beauty, \u201cI think I\u2019ve been thinking about it for about 20 years. Everywhere I went, I felt like everybody was always asking me about my skin. And as I got more mature, the questions came more often.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was actually very nice, but I realized that it was almost like an obligation,\u201d she added. \u201cLike, I had to put out a skincare line for everybody who was asking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Per People<\/a>, Lopez spent her 56th birthday not only looking incredible but staying somewhere incredible, too\u2014the Regnum Carya resort in a cavern-style suite, its \u201cCave\u201d suite, carved out of solid stone, \u201call dramatically lit to emphasize the natural architecture,\u201d according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

The suite features a spa-like tub, separate eating area, \u201cand massive sliding doors that look out towards the property\u2019s lush greenery,\u201d the publication continued, adding that a \u201cdazzling pool equipped with a swim-up bar is also offered at the cavern-style property.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Lopez\u2019s July 23 show, the singer was surprised when her backup singers and dancers encouraged the crowd to sing \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d to her, which Us Weekly<\/a> reported left her \u201cemotional.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like to give advice to anybody,\u201d Lopez then said from the stage. \u201cI feel life is a journey, and we all have lessons to learn and are just doing the best we can as we go along the way.\u201d She did note, however, that she had just \u201cone piece of advice\u201d for her fans.<\/p>\n
