{"id":91709,"date":"2025-07-25T15:32:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T15:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/91709\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T15:32:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T15:32:09","slug":"nascar-team-hosting-fan-event-outside-gainbridge-fieldhouse-indianapolis-news-indiana-weather-indiana-traffic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/91709\/","title":{"rendered":"NASCAR team hosting fan event outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse &#8211; Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) \u2014 Many NASCAR teams will be popping up around Central Indiana the next few days since it is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wishtv.com\/sports\/racing\/brickyard\/brickyard-400-indianapolis-motor-speedway\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brickyard Weekend<\/a> once again. <\/p>\n<p>One of those teams is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.23xiracing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">23XI Racing<\/a>, which is getting ready to host a big event on Friday evening. <\/p>\n<p>The event, called 23XI Intersect presented by Verizon, will take place Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT at Bicentennial Plaza, just outside of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c23XI has had a knack from day one to be different,\u201d 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace told News 8 Sports\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wishtv.com\/meet-the-team\/andrew-chernoff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrew Chernoff<\/a>. \u201cAnd this allows the motorsports fan base and the car culture fan base to kind of merge as one and be in an environment where everybody can grow with each other. And I think that\u2019s super important.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to the public. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.23xiracing.com\/intersect#rsvp-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> to register for the event. Fans who attend Friday\u2019s event will also receive a voucher for a ticket to Sunday\u2019s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a founding mission of making the sport more inclusive and welcoming, Intersect is set to introduce new fans to\u00a023XI and racing through a completely fresh lens,\u201d according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.23xiracing.com\/post\/23xi-intersect-presented-by-xfinity-kicks-off-brickyard-race-weekend-in-indianapolis-on-july-25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very cool to try to bring new fans into our sport and engage with long-time fans into a new perspective of what we try to do in the community that we race in,\u201d 23XI Racing driver Riley Herbst said. <\/p>\n<p>DJ Envy, music producer and co-host of \u201cThe Breakfast Club,\u201d will headline Friday\u2019s 23XI Intersect.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the team\u2019s three full-time drivers, Wallace, Herbst and Tyler Reddick, will make appearances. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust the conversations that you have are always fun at events like that,\u201d Wallace said.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some additional experiences for fans Friday night at the event:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guests can virtually experience the thrill of victory burnouts thanks to Xfinity\u2019s Boomin\u2019 Burnout experience<\/li>\n<li>Racing simulators provided by Logitech G<\/li>\n<li>McDonald\u2019s will be on-site with its McRig mobile kitchen for guests to sample menu items<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles will on display <\/li>\n<li>Show cars will be on display to promote the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wishtv.com\/sports\/brickyard-400-ticket-scams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brickyard 400<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cSince our founding five years ago, our team has been committed to growing motorsports and reaching fans wherever they may be,\u201d\u00a023XI\u00a0VP of Marketing Jamie Ruiz said in the press release. \u201cIntersect is a great opportunity for\u00a023XI\u00a0to expose a wider audience to our team and racing.
