\n\tDior<\/a> creative director Jonathan Anderson<\/a> shared new details about designing Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s wedding dress for her Friday nuptials to Travis Kelce<\/a> at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs he unveiled the French luxury fashion house\u2019s fall 2026 couture collection<\/a>, Anderson spoke with WWD Paris bureau chief Joelle Diderich about his latest curation and revealed a few specifics about the process of creating the 14-time Grammy winner\u2019s wedding dress.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends,\u201d Anderson said. \u201cIt\u2019s an emotional thing doing someone\u2019s wedding.\u201d Official photos from the couple\u2019s Madison Square Garden wedding have yet to be released.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe designer offered up another striking bridal-inspired dress on the runway Monday, perhaps an indication he\u2019s ready for more custom bridal gigs. <\/p>\n

\n\tSwift and Kelce, who got engaged in August 2025<\/a>, said \u201cI do,\u201d at New York City\u2019s sports and entertainment landmark on Friday following several weeks of speculation regarding the venue for the singer\u2019s and Kansas City Chief tight end\u2019s star-studded ceremony.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth Swift and Kelce were dressed in Christian Dior haute couture for Friday\u2019s festivities. Swift accessorized her wedding day attire with pieces of Cartier jewelry and a pair of custom Christian Louboutin pumps<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tA bevy of high-profile figures joined the couple on Friday to celebrate, dressed in monochrome<\/a>, black-tie attire. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Kelsea Ballerini were among Swift\u2019s guests. <\/p>\n

\n\tBy wearing Anderson\u2019s Dior design on her wedding day, Swift became the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding gown by the house\u2019s creative director of women\u2019s, men\u2019s and haute couture, according to a press release from her publicist, Tree Paine.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing Friday\u2019s ceremony, \u201cJUST&T MARRIED!\u201d\u00a0flashed on LED screens outside of Madison Square Garden. Swift and Kelce opted for a tighter, more intimate wedding party, with Swift tapping her brother Austin as her man of honor and Kelce\u2019s brother, former Philadelphia Eagles football star Jason Kelce, to act as his best man.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnderson officially joined Dior as creative director in June 2025, assuming the role vacated by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The couturier previously served as the creative director of Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe from 2013 until March 2025. During his tenure at Dior, Anderson\u2019s tapped new ambassadors, including \u201cPast Lives\u201d breakout star Greta Lee, and debuted a string of women\u2019s spring and fall collections and couture curations.<\/p>\n
