A shameless trio tried to rob an elderly man outside his Bronx home Sunday morning, running away with his security camera when their attempt failed, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 73-year-old man was walking to his Soundview home near Westchester and Metcalf Avenues around 4:20 a.m. when he was approached by the brazen crew, who demanded the elder\u2019s money, the NYPD said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When the victim refused to hand over his cash, the wannabe robbers followed him as he escaped to his nearby home, cops said.<\/p>\n

The 73-year-old man was walking to his Soundview home near Westchester Ave. and Metcalf Ave. around 4:20 a.m. when he was approached by a triumvirate, cops said.<\/p>\n
When the old man refused to hand over his cash, the creepy crew then followed him as he made an escape to his nearby home, cops said.<\/p>\n
After the elderly man made it inside and locked himself in, the trio started to bang on his door, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When it became clear the 73-year-old wouldn\u2019t open up, the three goons then ripped his Ring security camera off the exterior wall and disappeared into the wind, authorities added. <\/p>\n
Pictures released by cops show the triad of vicenarians, which include an inked-up woman wearing a white shirt, a tattooed man wearing a baseball cap and a man in a camouflage t-shirt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
