FORT WORTH \u2013 (Realty News Report) \u2013 S2 Industrial has acquired an industrial park with 31 buildings along Loop 820 in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n
The campus, a 589,022-SF multi-tenant park at 5721 E. Rosedale Street, will be rebranded as\u00a0Panther City Industrial Park. \u00a0\u201cPanther City\u201d is a nickname for Fort Worth originated in the 1970s when a Dallas attorney joked that he saw a panther sleeping on a Fort Worth street.<\/p>\n
The buyer is an affiliate of the industrial real estate portfolio company of S2 Capital, which is based in Dallas.<\/p>\n
Panther City Industrial Park\u2019s infill position along Loop 820 is near Interstates 20, 30, and 35W in one of the DFW metroplex\u2019s most active industrial corridors \u2013 a submarket defined by constrained supply, strong tenant demand, and limited competing new deliveries<\/a>, S2 Industrial said.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the kind of deal we get excited about, and we see a clear path to value creation here,\u201d said Parker McCormack, Chief Investment Officer of S2 Industrial. \u201cThe park fits our investment criteria almost perfectly, the submarket dynamics are favorable, and our industrial platform is built to execute on exactly this type of value-add opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n On-site property management will be handled by S2 Industrial\u2019s Fort Management.<\/p>\n In other Fort Worth activity, Hillwood recently announced that it has 6.8 million SF under construction in its AllianceTexas<\/a> project.<\/p>\n Boilerplate: Founded in 2024, S2 Industrial is a Dallas-based industrial real estate investment platform focused on opportunistic, value-add, credit, and core-plus investment strategies.
