Taylor Strecker was in the middle of auditioning for \u201cThe Real Housewives of New Jersey\u201d when she landed her spot on Stassi Schroeder\u2019s new Hulu show, \u201cHouse of Stassi.\u201c<\/p>\n
\u201cI got asked to interview for \u2018Housewives of Jersey\u2019 whilst we were in the very beginning stages of \u2018House of Stassi,’\u201d the \u201cTaste of Taylor\u201d podcast host exclusively told Page Six\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Strecker, who has been close friends with Schroeder<\/a> for more than a decade, will appear in the \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d alum\u2019s new series, which is slated to drop on Hulu on July 30.<\/p>\n Taylor Strecker was auditioning for \u201cThe Real Housewives of New Jersey\u201d when she landed her spot on \u201cHouse of Stassi,\u201d she exclusively told Page Six\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea.\u201d Jacquelyn Kozak<\/p>\n The podcast host \u2014 who stopped by the Page Six studio Monday \u2014 said \u201cHouse of Stassi\u201d had been \u201cin the works for a minute\u201d when she got the call from Bravo. Jacquelyn Kozak<\/p>\n While Strecker, 39, said \u201cHouse of Stassi\u201d had already been \u201cin the works for a minute\u201d when she got the call about \u201cRHONJ,\u201d Schroeder, 38, still encouraged her to audition for the Bravo show.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s the best friend ever,\u201d Strecker gushed. \u201cShe\u2019s like, \u2018You gotta go \u2014 it\u2019s \u2018Housewives\u2019 \u2014 you gotta go and give it your all, and let\u2019s just see, and we\u2019ll figure it out. Don\u2019t worry. Live your dream.\u2019 So, I did.\u201d<\/p>\n Unfortunately, Strecker said she still hasn\u2019t heard back from Bravo producers about her audition.<\/p>\n Strecker was encouraged to audition for the \u201cHousewives\u201d franchise by longtime pal Stassi Schroeder, despite already being on Chelsea Lauren\/for LADYWORLD \/ Shutterstock<\/p>\n The duo (seen above at the U Beauty + Tinx launch party in 2024) have been friends for over a decade Jason Sean Weiss\/BFA.com \/ Shutterstock<\/p>\n \u201cHere\u2019s the thing about auditioning. You never get a call saying you didn\u2019t get it, so I\u2019m still waiting!\u201d she told \u201cVRT.\u201d<\/p>\n It seems unlikely that the phone will ring for Strecker, as Season 15 of \u201cThe Real Housewives of New Jersey\u201d began filming this spring after a nearly three-year hiatus<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bravo announced in March that veteran stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania will be the only original cast members returning<\/a> to the long-running show, and will be joined by a new group of Garden State \u201cHousewives.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThe Real Housewives of New Jersey\u201d resumed filming Season 15 in March after a nearly three-year hiatus.
