Taylor Swift\u2019s squad has evolved <\/a>\u2014 and it\u2019s unclear where that leaves her five godchildren. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The singer is godmother to troubled actress<\/a> Jaime King\u2019s 10-year-old son, Leo Newman, as well as all four of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds\u2019 kids: Olin, 3; Betty, 6; Inez, 9; and James, 11. She was once so close to the girls that their names were used in songs, including \u201cBetty,\u201d from her 2020 album, \u201cFolklore.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, according to sources, all five were missing from Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s July 2-3 wedding celebrations at Madison Square Garden<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A source for King told Page Six in April 2025 that her friendship with Swift had \u201csuffered because of the personal challenges\u201d she has \u201cfaced over the past few years\u201d \u2014\u00a0as she lost custody of Leo (pictured) and her elder son, James. Taylor Swift\/Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cShe just had Jason Kelce\u2019s [daughters] as flower girls,\u201d the source told Page Six of the groom\u2019s nieces. <\/p>\n

King asked Swift to be the godmother to Leo, her son with then-husband Kyle Newman, in 2015 \u2014\u00a0the year after the model-turned-actress attended the singer\u2019s Fourth of July bash in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, along with Emma Stone and Lena Dunham (who were both at the wedding).<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor gets really close to the people in front of her fast. She and Jaime just happened to be friends when Jaime was pregnant, and that\u2019s why Jaime asked [Swift to be godmother] \u2014\u00a0but they didn\u2019t have a super long history together,\u201d one music insider said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor and Jaime haven\u2019t been spotted together in years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, a King source told Page Six in April 2025<\/a> that the \u201cHart of Dixie\u201d actress\u2019 friendship with Swift had \u201csuffered because of the personal challenges<\/a>\u201d she has \u201cfaced over the past few years\u201d \u2014\u00a0as she lost custody of Leo and her elder son James, 12, after she failed to complete a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n

Reps for King, Swift and Lively did not respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n

Lively and Reynolds, meanwhile, spent the day of Swift\u2019s rehearsal dinner at daughter Betty\u2019s horse show<\/a> in Lake Placid.<\/p>\n

The battle also exposed private texts <\/a>between Swift and Lively from December 2024 \u2014\u00a0in which the singer admitted there had been \u201ca little bit of a shift\u201d in their relationship and that Lively\u2019s communication \u201cfelt like \u2026 a mass corporate email sent to 200 employees.\u201d<\/p>\n

Singer Todrick Hall, 41, meanwhile, allegedly got kicked out of the squad<\/a>,\u00a0and off the wedding guest list, because \u201che yapped about anything and everything\u201d to do with Swift, the music insider said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor gets close to people fast and they\u2019ll hang out a lot and then \u2026 they\u2019ll just drift,\u201d the insider said.<\/p>\n

Other former friends left off Swift and Kelce\u2019s guest list included model Martha Hunt<\/a>, 37, who was close to the singer around the same time as King and appeared in her \u201cBad Blood\u201d video.<\/p>\n

\u201cMartha did go to the Eras tour and sat in the [VIP] tent in 2023,\u201d the music insider said, \u201cbut that was the last time [they talked].\u201d<\/p>\n

A rep for Hunt did not respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

But, the insider noted, Swift can be extremely loyal, and that\u2019s why Lorde, 29, wasn\u2019t at the wedding.<\/p>\n

According to a music insider, Lorde was not at Swift\u2019s wedding after Lena Dunham,\u00a0a good Swift pal,\u00a0suggested in her memoir that her then-fianc\u00e9 got overly close to Lorde. WireImage<\/p>\n

In her 2026 memoir, \u201cFamesick,\u201d Lena Dunham \u2014\u00a0a Swift pal who was in attendance both nights and even gave a speech at the rehearsal dinner \u2014 suggested that the New Zealand singer, who goes unnamed in the book, got overly close to her then-fianc\u00e9<\/a>, music producer Jack Antonoff.<\/p>\n
