(Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-309227\" title=\"Napoli eye Arsenal flop 2\"\/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressreader.com\/article\/281586656643327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Corriere dello Sport<\/a>, <strong>Raheem Sterling<\/strong> is being considered as an alternative to <strong>Dan Ndoye<\/strong>, with Napoli already active in the Premier League market this summer, signing <strong>Kevin De Bruyne<\/strong> on a free transfer after seeing <strong>Scott McTominay<\/strong> thrive in Serie A.<\/p>\n<p>Sterling, who turns 31 in December, endured a difficult loan spell at <strong>Arsenal<\/strong> last season, starting only 13 matches in all competitions, registering one goal and five assists in 1,143 minutes. <\/p>\n<p>Despite occasional bright moments, including two assists in the Champions League knockout stages against <strong>PSV Eindhoven<\/strong>, his overall impact was viewed as disappointing by those inside the Emirates.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"671\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/arsenal-fc-v-psv-eindhoven-uefa-champions-league-2024-25-round-of-16-second-leg-14-1024x671.jpg\" alt=\"LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 12: Raheem Sterling of Arsenal reacts during the UEFA Champions League 2024\/25 UEFA Champions League 2024\/25 Round of 16 Second Leg match between Arsenal FC and PSV at Emirates Stadium on March 12, 2025 in London, England.
