Every weekend, a generation of Philadelphians planted themselves in front of CRT televisions to watch bone-crunching, jaw-dropping martial arts cinema, and now those classics are coming back where they truly belong: the big screen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"><strong>Kung Fu Matinees<\/strong>, presented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel_nomadic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>Reel Nomadic<\/strong><\/a> in collaboration with the <strong>Philadelphia Film Society<\/strong>, returns for its <strong>second season to the Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut)\u00a0<\/strong> this August, running every <strong>Saturday at 1 PM<\/strong> (with Sunday reprises) through mid-September. Seven legendary films. Seven weekends.
