Justin Baldoni is speaking out after settling his long legal battle<\/a> with Blake Lively.<\/p>\n

In a video the actor posted to Instagram<\/a> Wednesday, his wife, Emily Baldoni, said they were feeling \u201cimmense gratitude\u201d for those who supported them since Lively first came forward with allegations<\/a> in December 2024.<\/p>\n

Justin, 42, noted, \u201cGratitude has saved us.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Emily said that the gratitude did not \u201cnegate the injustice and pain\u201d they\u2019ve felt over the past few years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve tried to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how can something happen like this even happen, let alone disguise as a fight for women,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The father of two shared why they waited two years to speak out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been so many painful things spoken into existence,\u201d Justin said \u2014 as his wife interjected, \u201cuntruthful\u201d \u2014 \u201cand that created so much noise and we didn\u2019t want to add to the noise. So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emily added, \u201cAnd the truth and facts have spoken for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

The director said the two are \u201chealing\u201d after going through a traumatic experience. He thanked fans who vocally supported them when they couldn\u2019t speak for themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you is not enough,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

Justin and Lively, 38, settled their intense court battle stemming from their film, \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d on May 4 \u2014 just two weeks before their trial was scheduled to begin.<\/p>\n

The settlement came a month after a judge\u00a0threw out 10 out of 13 of Lively\u2019s claims<\/a>, including her claim that Justin sexually harassed her.<\/p>\n

In a joint statement to Page Six about their settlement, the two noted, \u201cThe end product \u2014 the movie \u2018It Ends With\u00a0Us\u2019 \u2014 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and\u00a0making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors \u2014 and all survivors \u2014 is a goal that we stand behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

They continued, \u201cWe acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both parties added that they \u201cremain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments\u201d and it is their \u201csincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six confirmed that neither Lively nor Justin earned any money in their settlement.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, both Lively and Justin\u2019s legal teams\u00a0made $60 million combined<\/a>\u00a0to sue and countersue one another, sources told Page Six Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Justin also appears unbothered.<\/p>\n
