In the mood to keep celebrating? In the wake of the country\u2019s 250th anniversary,\u00a0Hamilton<\/a>, Lin-Manuel Miranda\u2019s smash-hit musical about the founding fathers, is returning to North Texas for a sixth time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Simultaneous tours of the now Broadway staple have been on the road almost continuously since 2017, two years after the show premiered in New York, where it\u2019s still running. The upcoming engagement at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth is almost two weeks long, an unusually lengthy stop for a mature show these days.<\/p>\n

But this is\u00a0Hamilton,\u00a0which transformed the Broadway musical with the infusion of hip-hop and by casting mostly minority actors in the roles of white historical figures. Audiences can\u2019t seem to get enough of it.<\/p>\n

In the latest iteration of the touring cast, Tyler Fauntleroy plays the title role of Alexander Hamilton opposite Jimmie “J.J.” Jeter’s Aaron Burr, Hamilton’s nemesis.<\/p>\n
