\u201cBoth of their busy schedules and distance were factors, along with many other things like lack of trust in the marriage,\u201d a source told Us Weekly Thursday. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were still trying to work on the marriage a few months ago, but it ultimately wasn\u2019t working,\u201d the source continued. \u201cAt some point, the rose-colored glasses came off for Margaret, and she felt she needed to take a step back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added that \u201ctrust issues between both of them\u201d made their relationship \u201chard.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the source, the music producer \u201chad expressed to friends\u201d that \u201cit was difficult being married and that there were struggles\u201d in the relationship.<\/p>\n

However, the estranged pair \u201cdon\u2019t have divorce plans yet,\u201d per the source.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to reps for Qualley and Antonoff for comment. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Page Six confirmed that Qualley, 31, and Antonoff, 42, called it quits after nearly three years of marriage. <\/p>\n

An insider exclusively told us that \u201ccommunication was definitely a challenge<\/a>\u201d between the pair throughout their marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cJack could be very particular about how he liked things,\u201d our source explained. \u201cHe\u2019d often prefer for things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn\u2019t always feel like her perspective was being heard or given the same weight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source told us Thursday that the two are working together to handle their separation in \u201cthe best way that they can\u201d<\/a> \u2014 with \u201clove and kindness.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re figuring this all out together,\u201d the insider added, noting that the \u201crumors\u201d floating about an alleged infidelity \u201caren\u2019t true.\u201d<\/p>\n

The songwriter and the actress \u2014 who\u00a0tied the knot\u00a0<\/a>in August 2023 \u2014 first sparked split rumors when Antonoff\u00a0attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2019s wedding<\/a>\u00a0without her on July 3. <\/p>\n

Antonoff was spotted attending\u00a0the couple\u2019s rehearsal dinner on July 2<\/a>\u00a0with his sister, Rachel. She also accompanied him to the\u00a0star-studded nuptials<\/a>\u00a0the following day.<\/p>\n

At the time, Page Six obtained photos of him entering the\u00a0wedding festivities<\/a>\u00a0with his hands in his pockets, so it was unclear whether he was wearing his wedding band.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, Antonoff was seen on Wednesday, at the same time news of their split broke, still wearing his ring.<\/p>\n

Fans had noticed that the \u201cSubstance\u201d star deleted photos of Antonoff from her Instagram. Margaret Qualley\/ instagram<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the \u201cSubstance\u201d star had deleted their wedding photos<\/a> from her Instagram account and that Antonoff had removed the song \u201cMargaret\u201d from their \u201cBleachers Forever\u201d tour setlist.<\/p>\n

The song, notably, was inspired by Qualley and was reportedly last played at their June 13 show. <\/p>\n
