The reality star explained why leaving son Camden, 13, son Jaxon, 12, and daughter Saylor, 10, in coach is \u201cvery important to\u201d her on Tuesday\u2019s episode of the \u201cAspire with Emma Grede\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s good for them,\u201d the \u201cHills\u201d alum noted of the unconventional flight arrangements.<\/p>\n

Kristin Cavallari confessed to keeping her kids in coach while she flies first class on a Tuesday podcast episode. Emma Grede\/Youtube<\/p>\n

The reality star told \u201cAspire with Emma Grede\u201d listeners this is \u201cvery important\u201d for Camden, Jaxon and Saylor (pictured above in 2025). Kristin Cavallari\/Facebook<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s the little things like that as a parent that make, ultimately, I think, a big difference in the long run,\u201d Cavallari, 39, continued.<\/p>\n

She noted that the trio doesn\u2019t \u201cjust get whatever they want\u201d since she is \u201chyperaware\u201d that the little ones \u201care growing up in a very fortunate situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Uncommon James creator said, \u201cIf they want something, they have to work for it. I want them to know, \u2018This is not your money. This is my money.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Cavallari, who co-parents with ex-husband Jay Cutler<\/a>, confessed that it was not \u201cdifficult\u201d to sit apart from her kids now that they\u2019re older and she doesn\u2019t have to worry about fights.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Bye guys, have fun back there,’\u201d she quipped, going on to \u201cgive [another] good example\u201d of keeping the children down to earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast summer, both of my boys created their own little businesses,\u201d the \u201cLaguna Beach\u201d alum shared. \u201cOne of my boys was washing people\u2019s windows. And the other one was washing people\u2019s garbage cans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cavallari\u2019s reveal comes four months after Jessica Simpson made headlines for sitting in first class<\/a> on a trip to Hawaii<\/a> while her estranged husband, Eric Johnson, and their brood sat in economy.<\/p>\n

Simpson\u2019s ex-husband, Nick Lachey, was on the same flight and confirmed the seating arrangements on \u201cWatch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen\u201d in May.<\/p>\n

Simpson, 45, defended herself<\/a> to a TMZ reporter later that same month \u2014 and blamed her mom for the controversial seating.<\/p>\n
