Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez appears unlikely to be making a return trip to the White House with the Los Angeles Dodgers.<\/p>\n
The Dodgers are expected to visit President Donald Trump<\/a> later this month during an off-day to celebrate their 2025 World Series championship. But after a fan commented on one of Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s social media posts<\/a> asking him not to go, the veteran utilityman replied, \u201cI\u2019m not,\u201d according to a screenshot of the exchange.<\/p>\n The comment has since been deleted, but it immediately stood out because Hern\u00e1ndez was part of the Dodgers\u2019 White House visit last year after their 2024 title.<\/p>\n Dodgers World Series hero Kike Hernandez is not expected to travel to the White House this season. AP<\/p>\n Hern\u00e1ndez later described that experience during an April 2025 interview with Cultura Sports, making it clear the day was more about celebrating with teammates than anything else, but also making the whole experience sound painfully boring. <\/p>\n \u201cWe went to the White House that morning,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez said<\/a> at the time. \u201cThey had us sit in a room for about three hours. Then they told us to stand up and get in line. We waited for a couple more hours. And then they took us to the stage. He has delivered massive postseason moments, twerked<\/a> in the dugout, brought his oddball clubhouse energy and talked openly about the very non-glamourous<\/a> parts of being a professional baseball player.<\/p>\n He has always marched to his own beat.<\/p>\n That fan-favorite status has endured even through an injury-interrupted 2026 season<\/a>.
