\n\tBeyonc\u00e9, \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOver the weekend, Queen B decided to surprise drop her new R&B-coated single \u2014 much to everyone\u2019s delight. \u201cMorning Dew\u201d is a gorgeous, downtempo track from Beyonc\u00e9, showing yet another side to the singer following ventures into country and dance music on her previous two albums (granted, this is a side we already know well). And while it\u2019s long been speculated that her ACT III could lean rock, this single might just prove otherwise \u2014 or at least keep us on our toes a while longer. \u2014 LYNDSEY HAVENS<\/p>\n

\n\tSuki Waterhouse, Loveland<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the 2024 release of her memorably-titled second album (Memoir of a Sparklemuffin), dreamy singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse is back today with her third full-length, Loveland. As the British artist shared on X earlier this week: \u201cLoveland is memorialization of the places that made me. The realisation that reality is not a given and must be continually pursued. The best and worst nights of my life. The move towards aliveness.\u201d \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tTeddy Swims, \u201cBreak Up In Reverse\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFor anyone not experiencing summer lovin\u2019, Teddy Swims has you covered with his new heartbreak anthem for the season. The downtempo ballad is all about hitting rewind and yearning to be loved when a relationship ends in the same way he felt at its start. \u201cUpon writing this song and my next album I\u2019ve been going through it with my relationship with my baby\u2019s mother coming to an end,\u201d Swims shared in a statement. \u201cWe were super inspired by an old NAS song called \u2018Rewind.\u2019 We loved how the whole song takes place in reverse. So we thought, \u2018how beautiful would it be if we took the same idea, but wrote it about my relationship.’\u201d \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rolling Stones, Foreign Tongues<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAs only a legendary act can do, The Stones shares its 25th studio album today, a fresh and tight set for the veteran rockers clocking in at just over an hour across 14 songs. Mick Jagger\u2019s vocals are clear-eyed while the band\u2019s instrumentals are just as driving as ever, resulting in an album well worth listening to from top to bottom. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Linda Lindas and Hayley Williams, \u201cCloser\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s fitting, really, that Williams would help The Linda Lindas with its major label debut single. The band goes back with the rock icon, citing Williams as a longtime inspiration and even welcoming her onstage last year to perform their breakout hit \u201cRacist, Sexist Boy\u201d at London\u2019s O2. Now, that relationship has been formalized with a collaboration; \u201cCloser\u201d is the band\u2019s first release since signing to Reprise\/Warner in June, and the midtempo alt-rock track surely signals more new music ahead. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tChris Lake & Tiga ft. Aatig, \u201cParty Time\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe release of the first ever Chris Lake and Tiga\u00a0collab finds each producer on a respective hot streak, with Lake recently moving 55,000 tickets across shows in New York and L.A. and remixing<\/a> Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cOpalite\u201d just prior. Tiga, meanwhile, released his excellent new album, Hot Wife, in April. So yes, it\u2019s party time indeed on this new single, which finds Lake leaning into the weirder, squelchier area of his sound, a realm in which Tiga has permanent residency. Vocals come from Aatig, the artist name of Lake\u2019s wife, Gita, and the song is out on his own Black Book Records.\u00a0\u2014 KATIE BAIN<\/p>\n

\n\tChris Avantgarde,\u00a0Hyperreal<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tGerman-born, London-based producer Chris Avantgarde releases his debut album with a confident statement, calling<\/a> the project \u201can album that moves through genres with the energy of a night out. The build, the peak, the sunrise on the roof. On my own terms, with my own sonic identity. I\u2019ve done that for plenty of other artists over the years, never really for myself. This time it\u2019s mine, and I\u2019m standing behind it.\u201d Indeed, while Avantgarde has worked on myriad projects by Anyma,\u00a0along with music by artists including K\u00f6lsch and Adam Beyer, Hyperreal marks the most complete statement of his 15-year career thus far. Coming on the heels of Avantgarde becoming a father for the first time,\u00a0Hyperreal\u00a0is cool and pristinely made, a nearly 90-minute journey traversing throttling club beats to spacey, emotional ambient for the afters.\u00a0\u2014 K.B.<\/p>\n

\n\tMelanie Santiler, \u201cGataza\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMelanie Santiler delivers a hard-hitting reggaet\u00f3n single laced with ethereal, futuristic pop sounds that transition into an alternative, reparto melody, sampling Karen Paola\u2019s 2004 hit \u201cToma Que Toma.\u201d Lyrically, the edgy fusion (blessed as \u201cGataza\u201d) makes references to the contemporary Cuban culture, as well as a childhood memory of Santiler\u2019s with her aunt Tata. But beyond its special connection to the Cuban newcomer \u2014 a former 2025 Billboard On The Radar Latin<\/a> artist \u2014 \u201cGataza\u201d is a powerful reminder about the importance of self-love, confidence, authenticity, and living fearlessly and unapolagetically. The single will be included on Santiler\u2019s upcoming studio album, MAMI FINA. \u2014JESSICA ROIZ<\/p>\n

\n\tFeid, \u201cA Xon De Que\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFeid has opened up about life after a breakup in \u201cA Xon De Que.\u201d Though the new single is powered by an uplifting, electronic dance melody, the Colombian artist is clearly melancholic and reminiscing about his ex-girlfriend, who has disappeared like a shooting star. \u201cWhy did you leave, what was the reason?\u201d he chants in the lyrics, also singing: \u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to see you with anyone other than me.\u201d \u201cA Xon De Que\u201d marks the first single off of Feid\u2019s upcoming EPEl Club\u00a0de\u00a0las 19 Flores, set to drop on his birthday, Aug. 19. \u2014 J.R.<\/p>\n

\n\tCoco Jones, \u201cBody So Tea\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFresh off a stunning rendition of \u201cLift Every Voice\u00a0And\u00a0Sing\u201d at Super Bowl LX, her playful springtime \u201cLUVAGIRL\u201d single and a series of vlogs detailing the latest stretch of her artistic evolution, Grammy-winning R&B star Coco Jones returns with \u201cBody So Tea.\u201d Co-produced by Stargate, Jasper and\u00a0Hiddie, the\u00a0new single finds Jones\u2019 honeyed vocals anchoring the self-affirming midtempo number, while subtle flourishes of strings and piano add dimension to the smooth soundscape. \u2014\u00a0KYLE DENIS<\/p>\n

\n\tFuture,\u00a0The Real Me<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFuture has officially unveiled his tenth solo studio album.\u00a0The Real Me, a\u00a0completely\u00a0feature-less, 22-track behemoth, houses some of the ATL hip-hop icon\u2019s most personal offerings in years. From the grief-minded\u00a0\u201cIf I Could\u201d to\u00a0the unflinchingly introspective \u201cBig Moment,\u201d Future really does lift the veil \u2014 somewhat \u2014 to give us a peek at the man behind the myth. Of course, the album still packs quirky left turns (\u201c2018,\u201d \u201cHollywood\u201d) and obvious hits (\u201cTank Top Pluto\u201d) as any\u00a0Pluto LP should. \u2014\u00a0K.D.<\/p>\n

\n\tJahmiel,\u00a0Against All Odds<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPortmore-hailing reggae artist Jahimiel is back with his new Against All Odds album. Featuring collaborations with Masicka, Jahshii, Charly Black, Nhance and Yohan Marley, the 15-track set seamlessly blends reggae and dancehall, grounding that fusion with themes of resilience, personal growth, steadfast faith and love. Be sure to check out standout track \u201cThe One,\u201d which stands as a heartwarming love story that flaunts Jahmiel\u2019s R&B chops. \u2014 K.D.<\/p>\n

\n\tMaddie Lenhart, \u201cEmpty Room\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLenhart leans deliberately into traditional country music influences, crafting a heartbreak ballad that feels like it would be right at home in many an intimate barroom. Mournful fiddle, dobro and organ flow as she sings about an emotionally vacant relationship, comparing it to playing for a sparse crowd. In the process, her warm vocal conveys the essence of the relentless work and disappointment of constantly giving without reciprocation, giving added weight to lyrics such as, \u201cI keep pourin\u2019 out my heart, but what good does it do?\u201d As with some of her previous releases, such as \u201cNewton\u2019s First Law,\u201d Lenhart continues demonstrating her adept songwriting. \u2014 JESSICA NICHOLSON<\/p>\n

\n\tWyatt Flores, \u201cScared of Heights\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe title track to Flores\u2019 upcoming July 31 album, \u201cScared of Heights\u201d explores the romantic uncertainty of being on the precipice of commitment, and fearing the consequences. Understated-yet-driving percussion, along with layers of guitar, fiddle and keyboards, highlight the mounting tension in Flores\u2019 grainy vocal on lines such as \u201cSoon as you say we\u2019re something\/ We won\u2019t be nothing anymore.\u201d Since releasing his debut album Welcome to the Plains in 2024, Flores has folded in slightly more expansive rock production into his sound, a move that has only amplified the raw emotion in his songs. \u2013\u2013 J.N.<\/p>\n
