Despite that pleasant downward shift in the air temperature, North Texans are not expected to reap the benefits during the heat of the day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The National Weather Service\u2019s Fort Worth office extended the heat advisory for the Metroplex through 9 p.m. Saturday.
