{"id":92721,"date":"2025-07-26T00:27:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T00:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/92721\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T00:27:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T00:27:12","slug":"thousands-without-power-on-staten-island-amid-heat-storms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/92721\/","title":{"rendered":"Thousands without power on Staten Island amid heat, storms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thousands of Con Edison customers on Staten Island lost power Friday as heat gripped the city and storms moved through the area.<\/p>\n<p>As of 6:20 p.m., more than 18,100 customers in the borough were without power, according to Con Edison\u2019s outage map.<\/p>\n<p>More than 1,500 customers in Brooklyn and more than 240 customers in Queens were also dealing with outages, the map showed.<\/p>\n<p>(A &#8220;customer&#8221; outage does not necessarily reflect one resident or household.
