Sof\u00eda Vergara<\/a><\/strong>, known for starring in Modern Family<\/a> and Griselda<\/a>, shared a surprise update with fans on social media from a hospital bed.<\/p>\n

The actress posted a couple of photos on July 25 as she wrote, “Its done! Round 2 \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f#knee.” The first snap showed Vergara posing for a selfie in a hospital gown with her medical patient bracelet on her wrist, showing off her natural beauty.<\/p>\n

The second photo was a close-up of her right knee in the hospital bed, with a big band-aid covering the left side while some sort of brace or device was situated around her calf. Vergara didn’t share any other details about the procedure.<\/p>\n

Friends and fans shared support and wished Vergara a fast recovery with kind comments on the post.<\/p>\n

Patrick Schwarzenegger<\/strong> commented, “Wishing you speedy recovery !!!!” while Justin Mikita<\/strong>, the husband of Vergara’s Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson<\/strong>, wrote, “I\u2019m bringing you cake.”<\/p>\n

“Swift healing, speedy recovery \ud83d\ude0d\u2764\ufe0f,” wrote one fan, as more said, “Hope it all goes well queen!” and “Beautiful even in a hospital gown!!! Speedy recovery, Sofia!!”<\/p>\n

Vergara previously underwent knee surgery in early 2024, around the time that she was reported to be dating orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
