PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Police released body-cam video showing officers rescuing four children from a hot car near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The video released Friday shows officers going to a business parking lot near 24th Street and Madison Street<\/a>, which is south of Washington Street. Kids were seen inside a car that wasn\u2019t running around 3:30 p.m. with the windows also rolled up.<\/p>\n The video shows three kids in the back seat, including one in a child seat, and another in the front seat. Officers opened the doors to get access to the kids. \u201cWhere\u2019s mom or dad?\u201d asked one officer. \u201cDo you know where your guys\u2019 family is?\u201d asked another. \u201cNope,\u201d one child replied. <\/p>\n The four victims were given water and put in a police SUV that had running air conditioning to cool them down. \u201cWater feel good?\u201d asked a female officer. <\/p>\n Thursday\u2019s high temperature for Phoenix was 106 degrees, which is normal for this time of year. However, police said the inside of the car was 125 degrees and each child\u2019s temperature was near 100 degrees.<\/p>\n The four kids were taken to the hospital to make sure they were OK. All are expected to be fine.<\/p>\n Police believe the kids had been in the car for nearly an hour.<\/p>\n The children\u2019s father, 38-year-old Ascencio Largo, was found inside a nearby business.
