The 2026 survey had more than 207,000 responses from T+L readers with over 661,000 votes across 10,088 accommodations, cruise lines, and other properties.<\/p>\n<p><strong\/>Leading the pack in Dallas-Fort Worth is<strong> Hotel Crescent Court<\/strong>, which soared to the top of the list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelandleisure.com\/worlds-best-awards-dallas-forth-worth-hotels-11952547\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">best local hotels<\/a> in 2026. With 186 guest rooms, 40 luxurious suites, a rejuvenating spa and fitness center, and a rooftop heated pool, Hotel Crescent Court offers guests an inviting atmosphere that feels much more like a &#8220;home away from home&#8221; than a hotel. The <strong>HALL Arts Hotel <\/strong>made its grand debut on the list<strong\/>, while<strong> <\/strong><strong>The Adolphus <\/strong>and <strong>Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek<\/strong> made the cut for another consecutive year. Rosewood Mansion also appeared on T+L&#8217;s separate list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/travel\/travel-leisure-500-hotel-vin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">500 best hotels<\/a> in the world in May 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The best hotels and resorts in Fort Worth<\/strong><br \/>Fort Worth&#8217;s famous Hotel Drover was the only Cowtown entrant on the list of the best hotels in the Metroplex. The five-year-old hotel is celebrating half a decade in the Stockyards this year with anniversary packages, <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/hotel-drover-backyard-patio-expansion\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">multimillion-dollar upgrades<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Worth&#8217;s Bowie House also reaffirmed its status as one of the most deluxe hotels in the region (and beyond) after it ranked as the 15th <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelandleisure.com\/worlds-best-awards-continental-us-hotels-11952486\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">best hotel in the U.S.<\/a> for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The city of Fort Worth was also dubbed the 6th best <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelandleisure.com\/worlds-best-awards-best-cities-in-us-11952432\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">travel destination<\/a> in the U.S. this year, proving that readers are still obsessed with visiting Funkytown for its historic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortworthstockyards.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">attractions<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/food-events-birdie-pickle-ellerbe\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">restaurant<\/a> scene, and more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In its 31st year, the World\u2019s Best Awards continue to be a reflection of the extraordinary experiences that you, our trusted readers, crave,&#8221; T+L editors wrote. &#8220;This year, we at Travel + Leisure implore you to explore the winners with the same curiosity in which you chose them.
