PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Police have identified a man who was killed in a reported home invasion in the Camelback East neighborhood of Phoenix early Saturday morning. <\/p>\n
51-year-old Daniel Saiz was shot by someone who forced their way inside his home, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department. The suspect or suspects left before police arrived. <\/p>\n
Saiz died at the scene. <\/p>\n
The shooting happened around 4 a.m. near 36th and Sheridan streets<\/a>, south of Thomas Road. <\/p>\n The investigation blocked off 36th Street in both directions as neighbors stood outside watching. Troy Williams owns a business across the street and found out what happened through Arizona\u2019s Family.<\/p>\n \u201cIt can happen anywhere, anytime, anyplace. There is no agenda when somebody is breaking into your place,\u201d Williams said. <\/p>\n For other neighbors like Tito Nunez, it\u2019s a scene that has him thinking twice.
