<\/p>\nThe DemosAU\/Capital Brief poll of 2,694 Australians has found Mr Albanese had the lowest net favourability result of any serving federal politician measured.<\/p>\n
Just 25 per cent of people held a positive view of Mr Albanese, while 47 per cent had a negative view, for a net result of -22, placing him at the bottom of the political pile.<\/p>\n
The result came after Mr Albanese faced backlash over his appearance on the \u201cBush Deep\u201d podcast, where he made crude sexual innuendo, including about the Japanese PM.<\/p>\n
While the Prime Minister\u2019s Office issued an apology statement, Mr Albanese has not personally apologised for his joke about Sanae Takaichi\u2019s \u201cmelons\u201d.<\/p>\n
But the Prime Minister was not alone in receiving a rough reception from voters, with Australians delivering a brutal verdict on the nation\u2019s political class.<\/p>\n
Across the board, just six of the 24 politicians measured in the poll received a net positive result.<\/p>\n
Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie, NSW Premier Chris Minns and Queensland Premier David Crisafulli topped the rankings, each recording a +5 net rating.<\/p>\n
Independent Senator David Pocock (+2), Liberal Senator Jane Hume (+1) and Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie (+1) were the only other politicians to score positive results. \u00a0<\/p>\n
By contrast, Mr Albanese and former prime minister Scott Morrison were the least liked, with overall results of -22.<\/p>\n
Treasurer Jim Chalmers also received a dire rating (net -19), featuring 19 per cent approval and 38 per cent disapproval.<\/p>\n
He was bested by One Nation\u2019s treasury spokesman Barnaby Joyce who scored -13 overall, with 27 per cent positive and 40 per cent negative views. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Opposition Leader Angus Taylor recorded a -2 net rating, but 50 per cent of people either had no strong opinion on him, or did not know who he was.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, One Nation leader Pauline Hanson recorded the strongest positive rating in the survey, with 34 per cent of Australians holding a positive view.<\/p>\n
However, her negative rating remained high, with 42 per cent holding a poor view, giving her a net result of -8.<\/p>\n
Ms Hanson\u2019s score came following her controversial comments about Australia becoming \u201cmonocultural\u201d.<\/p>\n
The One Nation leader sparked national debate after her address to the National Press Club where she argued Australia should become \u201cmonocultural\u201d rather than \u201cmulticultural\u201d.<\/p>\n
The results come after One Nation led the latest Sky News Pulse \/ YouGov survey, conducted from June 9 to 16.<\/p>\n
One Nation captured 28 per cent of the primary vote, ahead of Labor on 26 per cent and the Coalition on 21 per cent.<\/p>\n
Labor led both the Coalition and One Nation on a 52-48 two-party preferred basis among all voters.<\/p>\n
