Here\u2019s what Northeast Florida voters need to know<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Florida holds closed primaries, which means only voters registered with a political party may vote in that party\u2019s primary. However, nonpartisan judicial and school board races will appear on all ballots, regardless of party affiliation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">The special election will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Councilman Terrance Edward Freeman, At-Large Group 1, and will appear on all ballots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Voter registration is available at the Supervisor of Elections office, 105 E. Monroe St., Jacksonville; at any Jacksonville Public Library; or online at duvalelections.gov.
