\n\tArtist Anish Kapoor<\/a> is selling his New York apartment in Tribeca for $17.75 million, report<\/a>s New York Post. At the building\u2019s base sits the artist\u2019s smaller iteration<\/a> of his famous Cloud Gate, the\u00a0reflective bean-shaped sculpture on public display in Chicago.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 57-story-tall 56 Leonard Street apartment for sale by Kapoor is located on the 47th floor and features 3,576-square-feet of living space, including four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms with 12-foot ceilings and windows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe main bedroom suite features a walk-in closet and a travertine marble bath with heated floors. It also boasts a private elevator landing, three private outdoor spaces, a fireplace, and an open chef\u2019s kitchen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditional amenities include an indoor pool, a sundeck, a gym, a screening room, a residents\u2019 lounge, a private dining room, and a children\u2019s playroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIts unique shape, recalling the criss-crossed blocks of the game Jenga, was designed by world-renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron.\u00a0It is the tallest structure in Tribeca.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is not the first time the Mumbai-born British artist has listed the apartment; it was offered for roughly $18 million last year, under a different brokerage. It is unclear why Kapoor wants to sell, but he purchased the unit directly from the sponsor for roughly $14 million in 2016. The apartment is currently listed with Serhant\u2019s Krista Nickols and Martin Garcia.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2021, Kapoor listed his former London residence<\/a>, one of the central city\u2019s largest homes, for $26 million.
