When police arrived on scene, they found<\/a> the children in the car which was turned off and had its windows rolled up.<\/p>\n Officers immediately gained access to the vehicle and put each of the children into an air-conditioned patrol car as well as provided them with water.<\/p>\n The Phoenix Fire Department arrived shortly after and treated the children.<\/p>\n The children were transported to the hospital to be evaluated for heat-related issues but are expected to be fine.<\/p>\n Phoenix police said that the temperature inside the vehicle, after the doors were opened by officers, was 125 degrees.<\/p>\n In addition, each of the children\u2019s internal temperatures were taken and were reportedly all close to 100 degrees.<\/p>\n Police were able to make contact with Largo inside of a nearby business. Officers later learned that he had entered said business just short of an hour before they arrived on scene.<\/p>\n This is an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n No other information was provided.<\/p>\n We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n Have a story idea or tip?
