{"id":936786,"date":"2026-07-15T15:04:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T15:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/936786\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T15:04:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T15:04:16","slug":"iran-marks-popular-israeli-journalist-as-enemy-target","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/936786\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran marks popular Israeli journalist as enemy target"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">Iran\u2019s Intelligence Ministry published an official document detailing a list of \u201chostile elements&#8221; as part of the implementation of a law increasing penalties for espionage and cooperation with Israel.<\/p>\n<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">The document, published in Iran\u2019s official newspaper, includes, among other things, a list of \u201chostile media figures,&#8221; featuring Israeli journalists alongside Iranian opposition activists.<\/p>\n<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">Among the names appearing on the list are journalists Amit Segal, Yossi Melman, and Raz Zimmt. Also included alongside the journalists is Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran\u2019s last Shah.<\/p>\n<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">According to the document, Iranian authorities define those appearing on the list as \u201chostile elements&#8221; and state that transferring information, photos, or videos to individuals listed in the document could lead to prosecution and, in some cases, prison sentences under Iranian law.<\/p>\n<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">Amit Segal responded to the publication, writing: \u201cApparently, I did do something right after all &#8211; it turns out that Iranian intelligence has placed me on a list of people that contact with them could lead to many years in prison.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-v-5c642528=\"\" data-v-45890e8d-s=\"\">He added humorously: \u201cTo the Israelis here: you are still allowed to give me information.
