The deadline to submit an application is Tuesday, July 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/generic-alligator-trapper-fwc-2.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  Application requirements <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">There are a number of requirements to be a nuisance alligator trapper:<\/p>\n<ul original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WOFL\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">Have to live within or near the assigned coverage area<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">Have to have the time and flexibility to respond to nuisance alligator calls<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">Have a clean criminal record<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">Have no prior fish or wildlife law violations<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">Possess a valid, working email address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What is a nuisance alligator?\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">FWC&#8217;s Statewide Nuisance Alligator Program (SNAP) was developed to proactively deal with potential alligator threats in developed areas. When a nuisance alligator is found, trappers are called to remove the alligator.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/generic-alligator-trapper-fwc-4.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">A nuisance alligator is typically at least four feet long and believed to be a threat to people or pets.
