(Atlanta News First) \u2014 A Delta Air Lines flight operated by SkyWest was diverted to Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday after hitting turbulence on the way to Atlanta from the Bahamas, according to Delta and SkyWest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Flight 3723 landed safely at Jacksonville International Airport, where one crew member was taken to the hospital for evaluation, said a spokesperson for SkyWest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Atlanta-based Delta is working with SkyWest to put the 67 passengers on other flights bound for Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Flight 3723 had taken off from Eleuthera in the Bahamas and was operated under Delta Connection, the brand name for Delta\u2019s partnership with regional airlines.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"FILE - A SkyWest commuter jet lands at Denver International Airport on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025,...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7K6BIOGZTJDTXOJ7KAD7B66DIM.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"592\" \/>FILE &#8211; A SkyWest commuter jet lands at Denver International Airport on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, in Denver.
