NEW JERSEY (WABC) — Storm damage is causing issues on New Jersey Transit, and other modes of mass transportation during the Friday evening commute.<\/p>\n
NJ Transit says Morris and Essex line and Gladstone Branch rail service is subject to up to 45-minute delays in both directions following a downed tree on overhead wires near Morristown.<\/p>\n
Midtown Direct trains departing Penn Station New York will make all local stops.<\/p>\n
Due to an earlier disabled train in one of the Hudson River Tunnels, NJ Transit rail service is subject to up to 20-minute delays into and out of Penn Station.<\/p>\n
NJ Transit is also canceling some trains due to crew availability that will cause further disruptions.<\/p>\n
NJ Transit rail tickets and passes are being crossed-honored by the agency’s bus and private carrier buses and PATH at Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York.
