{"id":940221,"date":"2026-07-17T03:09:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T03:09:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/940221\/"},"modified":"2026-07-17T03:09:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T03:09:29","slug":"mts-discounted-san-diego-comic-con-2026-now-on-sale-update-july-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/940221\/","title":{"rendered":"MTS Discounted San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Now on Sale [UPDATE July 16]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-142604 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1000013686-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"377\" height=\"284\"  \/>At the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog, we\u2019re big supporters of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System \u2014 not just because it\u2019s one of the easiest ways to get around the city during Comic-Con, but because MTS fully embraces the spirit of the convention.<\/p>\n<p>From their beloved <a href=\"https:\/\/sdccblog.com\/2026\/06\/san-diego-trolleys-wrapped-up-for-san-diego-comic-con-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">trolley wraps<\/a> to their annual attendee-friendly perks and extended service, MTS has become an essential part of the Comic-Con experience.<\/p>\n<p>This year, they\u2019re once again offering discounted multi-day passes exclusively for Comic-Con attendees, available through the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridepronto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">PRONTO app.<\/a> <\/strong>Passes will go on sale Monday, July 6 through the PRONTO app, so you can skip the hassle and ride in style. No need to worry about parking or traffic when you\u2019re headed to Hall H!<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, there will not be physical event specific cards this year.<\/p>\n<p>Prices are:<\/p>\n<ul>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>5-Day Pass (July 22-26)<\/strong>: $23<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>4-Day Pass (July 23-26)<\/strong>: $18.50<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>3-Day Pass (July 24-26)<\/strong>: $13<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>2-Day Pass (July 25-26)<\/strong>: $10<\/li>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>[UPDATE July 16]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting on Monday, July 20th MTS Riders can purchase the 2026 MTS Limited Edition San Diego Comic-Con enamel pin at the Transit Store at 12th and Imperial. Store hours are Monday \u2013 Friday from 8am to 5pm.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-149968\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/HNTrUvoaoAAdJUx.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"636\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Two pop-up events will also delight riders of all ages with giveaways of customer designed SDCC paper trolley banks and some lucky attendees will receive a free MTS Comic-Con Pin.<\/p>\n<ul>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Thursday, July 24 from 7am \u2013 9am (or while supplies last) at 12th &amp; Imperial<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Friday, July 25 from 7am \u2013 9am (or while supplies last) at Balboa Avenue Transit Center<\/li>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>[Previously Posted July 2]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MTS Special Event Line is now the MTG Special Event Line\u2026as in Magic: The Gathering. The line will run every 15 minutes between the Balboa Avenue Transit Center and 12th and Imperial from Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26th. Select trolleys will be wrapped in special Magic: The Gathering artwork, including a few that will include wrapping INSIDE the trolley, a very special occasion indeed. NO SATURDAY\/SUNDAY PARKING. Parking will only available in the Yellow Lot.
