Taiwan’s Foxlink Group, a global advanced technology manufacturer, has purchased Alliance Gateway 17 at Hillwood’s AllianceTexas in Fort Worth. There, it will produce printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) in the company’s first “AI Factory” in the United States.

“The launch of our Texas facility marks a monumental milestone in Foxlink’s steadfast commitment to the U.S. market,” CEO Freddy Kuo said in a statement. “We are deploying physical AI directly on the production floor — embedding intelligent automation into every workstation, enabling flexible manufacturing that can be replicated rapidly across our global sites.”

The 147,780-square-foot facility at 4600 Alliance Gateway Freeway is expected to create approximately 900 jobs at full capacity. This is the company’s second U.S. manufacturing facility; the first produces green energy electronics in Phoenix. The company also has U.S. offices in Cupertino, California (Apple’s hometown), Los Angeles and Seattle. It employs more than 23,000 people worldwide and generated revenue of almost $3 billion in 2025.

Founded in 1986, Foxlink produces a broad array of electronic components, including connectors, circuit board assemblies, cables, power supplies and battery packs.

AI Factory connects Fort Worth and Taiwan

Designed to scale with future growth, the Fort Worth facility will be converted into an advanced manufacturing site for Foxlink’s surface mount technology (SMT) and final assembly, testing and packaging (FATP) production processes. The site will integrate AI-driven robotics and intelligent automation directly on the production floor, serving as a model for Foxlink’s future AI Factory deployments worldwide. Production is expected to begin in August.

Foxlink said its AI Factory model connects computing power to the factory floor in Fort Worth through large-scale GPU compute clusters in Taiwan from group affiliate UBILINK. The compute clusters, built on NVIDIA H100 infrastructure, provide the computing foundation. Foxlink subsidiary SYNCROBOTIC is developing the AI and robotics systems that will extend that capability onto the industrial floor.

Kuo said that the AllianceTexas site “is not just a new factory,” adding, “It is Foxlink’s first AI Factory in the United States, and it will not be the last. Our expansion in Texas demonstrates what we have always believed: the solutions we build for ourselves, we can build for our customers, anywhere in the world.”

Advanced manufacturing at AllianceTexas

Foxlink said it selected AllianceTexas for its strategic location, transportation access, access to a skilled workforce and proximity to North Texas’ growing advanced manufacturing ecosystem. Located in Hillwood’s 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development, the site connects to key regional corridors and a business environment built to support large-scale industrial and manufacturing operations.

Foxlink’s new location adds to the rapid growth of advanced manufacturing at AllianceTexas, Hillwood said. AllianceTexas is home to more than 600 companies, generating more than 73,000 direct jobs and an estimated $142.9 billion in regional economic impact since 1989. Recent advanced manufacturing investments within the development include AI supercomputing facilities and 10X, MP Materials’ rare earth magnet manufacturing campus, now under construction, expanding the company’s existing presence at AllianceTexas.“Foxlink’s decision to establish its new U.S. AI Factory at AllianceTexas reinforces the strength of our platform for advanced manufacturing,” said Jack Barkley, vice president at Hillwood. “This transaction reflects what global manufacturers need, strategic location, infrastructure, workforce access and connectivity that support speed, scale and long-term growth.”

Don’t miss what’s next.
