Developer Christian Spicer and his investors cram as many ADUs as they can on traditional single-family lots and don\u2019t seem to care about neighborhood concerns.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, why are our city officials so slow to amend ordinances that adversely affect our quality of life? They have a history of inaction and delay. Recent examples of months of inaction and delays are electric scooter regulation, sidewalk vendor curtailment and regulating vacation rentals.<\/p>\n<p>There has to be an explanation for these fiascos, and saying \u201cthat\u2019s the way government works\u201d is unacceptable.
