{"id":94275,"date":"2025-07-26T14:22:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T14:22:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/94275\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T14:22:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T14:22:11","slug":"california-home-linked-to-tiktok-cult-pastor-robert-shinn-seen-on-netflix-raided-in-sex-trafficking-probe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/94275\/","title":{"rendered":"California home linked to &#8216;TikTok cult&#8217; pastor Robert Shinn seen on Netflix raided in sex-trafficking probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Federal agents descended upon a California home connected to the \u201cTikTok Cult\u201d pastor who was the subject of a recent Netflix documentary series Friday \u2014 as part of an investigation into sex trafficking and other criminal claims. <\/p>\n<p>Several people were detained after a Tujunga home partially owned by Pastor Robert Shinn was raided by agents from the FBI, IRS, US Postal Service and Department of Labor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2025-07-25\/feds-raid-tujunga-home-of-alleged-tiktok-cult-pastor-in-sex-trafficking-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the Los Angeles Times reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Officials served warrants related to allegations of sex trafficking, money laundering, mail fraud, tax evasion and COVID-19-related fraud,\u00a0according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Federal agents raided a home partially owned by Pastor Robert Shinn. KTLA 5<\/p>\n<p>The identities of those detained were not immediately clear.<\/p>\n<p>At least six handcuffed people and one woman holding a child <a href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/news\/local-news\/sex-trafficking-warrant-served-at-l-a-home-owned-by-alleged-tiktok-cult-pastor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">were seen in KTLA chopper footage of the raid<\/a> of the residence, which featured in the Netflix docuseries \u201cDancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult,\u201d the station reported. <\/p>\n<p>One witness reported hearing flash-bang grenades go off at the start of the 6 a.m. law enforcement operation, according to the LA Times.<\/p>\n<p>Self-proclaimed \u201cman of God\u201d Shinn, who founded Shekinah Church in 1994, helped create 7M Films in 2021, and the LA-based talent management company allegedly lured dancers with promises of turning them into TikTok stars.<\/p>\n<p>Some of those dancers were also conscripted into the Shekinah Church and acted as recruiters for 7M, which they claim is inseparable from the religious organization.<\/p>\n<p>Former members of Shekinah Church who also worked for 7M films alleged Shinn abused and manipulated them, with some even accusing the guru of sexual assault.<\/p>\n<p>A source claimed the property involved in this search warrant was the same home that was at the center of the series, KTLA reported. KTLA 5<\/p>\n<p>Several people were detained during the raid.
