{"id":945574,"date":"2026-07-19T14:27:45","date_gmt":"2026-07-19T14:27:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/945574\/"},"modified":"2026-07-19T14:27:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-19T14:27:45","slug":"service-resumes-after-downtown-dallas-crash-involving-dart-train","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/945574\/","title":{"rendered":"Service resumes after downtown Dallas crash involving DART train"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dallas Area Rapid Transit service has resumed in downtown Dallas after a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/traffic-accidents\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">crash<\/a> between a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dart\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">light rail train<\/a> and a truck Wednesday afternoon sent several people to the hospital, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>In an X post shortly after 2:30 p.m., DART officials said the crash had been cleared, and regularly scheduled services would resume.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Fire-Rescue units were dispatched after reports of an accident about 12:20\u00a0p.m. at 2200 Bryan St. near the Pearl\/Arts District DART station, according to spokesman Jason Evans.<\/p>\n<p>Evans said it was originally reported that three people were pinned in the Southern Botanical truck because it had rolled onto its side following the crash, though first responders were able to remove them with no issues. He said they chose not to go to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement from Southern Botanical, the company said it is cooperating fully with DART and other authorities to gather the facts of the crash.
