Mena Suvari says she\u2019s down for a fifth helping of \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d \u2014 telling The Post she\u2019d \u201clove to\u201d return for another installment of the popular sex-comedy franchise.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know that people have been talking about it. I feel like audiences would really appreciate it. I\u2019ve seen videos that fans have put together as a trailer for it. There\u2019s like all kinds of stuff out there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t heard anything official, but I\u2019d love to be a part of it.\u201d <\/p>\n
Suvari, 46, who was signed by the prestigious Wilhelmina modeling agency at 12, landed her breakout role in the series\u2019 debut movie \u2014 which sparked three more that grossed a total of nearly $1 billion at the box office<\/a>.<\/p>\n After \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d kicked off in 1999, the Newport, RI native shot to fame, becoming a household name for her portrayal of Heather<\/a>, a fresh-faced high school choir singer who catches the eye of Oz, played by Chris Klein<\/a>, a jock on the lacrosse team.<\/p>\n Suvari said if there were to be a fifth movie, she\u2019d want them to still be together.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it would be wonderful to still have a relationship with Oz and maybe they have some sort of future together or family,\u201d she said of the characters, who reunite at their high school reunion in 2012\u2019s \u201cAmerican Reunion<\/a>,\u201d the last film of the franchise.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve always said that \u2018American Pie\u2019 gave me my high school experience,\u201d Suvari told The Post. \u00a9Universal\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n Suvari, who graduated from Providence High School\u00a0in\u00a0Burbank, CA, said her high school experience was \u201cvery, very different\u201d than her on-screen one.<\/p>\n \u201cI was sort of like in survival mode for the most part,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve always said that \u2018American Pie\u2019 gave me my high school experience because I didn\u2019t have a boyfriend like that or go to prom or have a loving relationship. Getty Images<\/p>\n The actress reunited with her \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d co-stars Jason Biggs and Alyson Hannigan to film a segment for Biggs and his wife Jenny Mollen\u2019s<\/a> \u201cDinner and Movie\u201d series on TBS which will air next month \u2014 and she even brought some movie memorabilia she had unearthed during a move.<\/p>\n \u201cI found an \u2018American Pie\u2019 script \u2026 I had written down the address [on it] for I think it was the rehearsal,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd what\u2019s my favorite about that is that I had drawn out like the crossing of the streets because back in the day we didn\u2019t have Nav [navigation app] \u2026 I had even draw out like what streets it was on and where to turn.
