MAFS Australia star Gia Fleur has announced that she’s expecting a baby with her partner Alan Wallace, less than a year after a tumultuous stint on the reality show with ‘husband’ Scott McCristal.<\/p>\n

“I was really excited,” she told Woman’s Day magazine (via Daily Mail<\/a>).<\/p>\n

“My first thought was, ‘Yay!’, because I have a 10-year-old daughter and I thought I’d never have another kid. I didn’t think I’d meet the right person I’d want to have another baby with.”<\/p>\n

Gia and Alan, who previously appeared on the second season of Love Triangle, have had a whirlwind romance, including moving in together and getting matching tattoos before finding out they were expecting. <\/p>\n

The pair felt they were aligned on their goals for life, with Gia saying: “‘We were just on the same page from the start. We both wanted kids. We just always knew what we wanted.” <\/p>\n

Gia’s found love away from the cameras after her controversial time on MAFS Australia, which saw her struggle in her relationship with Scott, despite the pair initially appearing to be one of the strongest couples in the experiment.<\/p>\n

Alan told Woman’s Day that he wanted to get to know the reality star away from the cameras, after the pair got together on New Year’s Eve, saying: “I didn’t want to get to know her through MAFS, I wanted to get to know her as a person. And I saw how good of a mum she is.”<\/p>\n

People were quick to congratulate Gia in her Instagram post announcing the pregnancy, with fellow MAFS bride Morena Farina saying: “Sweetheart, I couldn\u2019t be happier. Congratulations, amazing news.”<\/p>\n
