{"id":946791,"date":"2026-07-20T05:06:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T05:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/946791\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T05:06:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T05:06:12","slug":"laynes-chicken-fingers-opens-12th-houston-area-location-in-cypress-cypress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/946791\/","title":{"rendered":"Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers opens 12th Houston area location in Cypress | Cypress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/cypress\/dining\/college-station-based-laynes-chicken-fingers-to-open-in-cypress\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers<\/a> CEO Garrett Reed told Community Impact the franchise held a soft opening for its new Cypress location on July 17 with a grand opening on July 18.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Located at a former Zaxby&#8217;s, Reed said the new Cypress location boasts an expansive dining area featuring a country-inspired design with rustic elements.<\/p>\n<p>Creating over 30 jobs for Cypress area residents, franchise owner Masroor Fatany said the new location is located adjacent to Wendy\u2019s within the HEB parking lot and across from Lifetime Fitness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;ve had our eyes on this location since last year, and when this opportunity came up earlier this year, we were excited to see it through, and here we are opening this store, and you know we&#8217;re excited to be here in between Bridgeland and Town Lake, and amongst just the general cypress area,\u201d Fatany said.<\/p>\n<p>Reed said the fried chicken franchise has plans to open one Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers location a week for the remaining of the year. With its eyes set on Magnolia next, Reed said the franchise plans to open a total of 60-65 locations in the Houston area alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Incase you missed it <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers was founded in College Station by Mike Layne in 1994 and has 50 locations with several opening soon, per the website.<\/p>\n<p>Reed said he joined Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers as CEO in 2017 and immediately began looking for opportunities to expand the brand. As a growing company, Reed said Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers plans to collaborate with local schools and organizations to hold spirit nights and is open for community outreach opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craving fried chicken?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Known for its crispy fried chicken meals, Reed said Layne\u2019s Chicken Fingers contains marinated tenderloin chicken and is hand breaded to offer a crispy crunchy exterior that reflects traditional fried chicken.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s like you get the best of both worlds.
