Assuming he plays, that will be the date of Jaylen Brown\u2019s first trip back to TD Garden as a Celtics opponent.<\/p>\n

Boston on Monday announced its 2026 preseason schedule, which \u2014 as president of basketball operations Brad Stevens teased earlier this month<\/a> \u2014 features two matchups with Brown\u2019s Philadelphia 76ers.<\/p>\n

The Celtics will open their exhibition slate in Cleveland on Thursday, Oct. 8 before hosting the Sixers two days later. They\u2019ll then play a home game against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 14 before closing out the preseason at Philadelphia on Oct. 16.<\/p>\n

Here are the full details for each game, all of which will be broadcast on NBC Sports Boston:<\/p>\n

Thursday, Oct. 8 at Cleveland (7 p.m.)
Saturday, Oct. 10 vs. Philadelphia (8 p.m.)
Wednesday, Oct. 14 vs. Charlotte (7:30 p.m.)
Friday, Oct. 16 at Philadelphia (7 p.m.)<\/p>\n

The Celtics, who traded Brown to Philly<\/a> for Paul George and four draft picks, will face the 76ers another four times during the regular season, according to Stevens.
